Viana Nafjai

Viana Najafi is a high school student in Southern California with a strong passion for neuroscience and leadership. She serves as an active board member of the California Scholarship Federation and the National Honor Society. As a commissioner in her school’s Associated Student Body, she manages over 100 campus clubs.

Viana’s passion for brain health led her to create Mind Over Matter, a club dedicated to educating people of all ages about the brain. She also serves as the Director of Outreach for the Southern California Youth Neuroscience Association, part of UCI’s Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory. Focused on educational neuroscience, Viana is driven to expand awareness and understanding of the brain through her various pursuits. She plans to pursue an MD/PhD in neuroscience.
